Hurry Hard!!!

There's been a lot of talk lately that Jesus actually walked on ice and not water. This got me to thinkin'...

We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat

The blue sky we added to this photo yesterday gave it a more friendly appearance but what if we went the other way and subjected the tower to a full force gale. And why stop there. What if that gale turned into a flood of mass proportions.

Dress Up A Favorite Photo

Occasionally you'll have a picture that isn't quite up to snuff but you really want it displayed with the lyric of an appropriate song. Here we took a photo of Cabot Tower in St. John's, Newfoundland and gave it a new sky (the blue sky really does give the shot away as a fake as St. John's sees very few days like this) and a text of a Ron Hynes favorite. It now becomes a treasured photo suitable for framing.

New Guest Book

Due to some spamming and technical difficulties I found it necessary to acquire a new guest book. Please feel free to leave any thoughts or comments.

Tribute

My buddy, Ian Hutchinson, sent me another of his great compositions and as of yet I've not determined how to get it here for all to hear. So as a wee tribute to his talent I've done up a mock up of the old 45 RPM single...

Having a little fun with my old buddy Drach.

Sir Paul Will Not Let It Be

Sir Paul McCartney has decided to honor us with his presence at the annual seal hunt this spring. Another celebrity waists his time getting involved in a cause he knows nothing about. Watch out Paul...those flows can be slippery.

Now I know that the fox hunt has been banned in Great Britan but reports are that the ban is not being enforced and that the hunt continues.

Luck O' The Irish

With St. Patrick's Day coming soon I thought it might be time to show what sort of ecard one might make up for the occasion. Check back as I'm sure there will be more added as the day draws closer.

Photo Fun

In this segment, I want to show you the fun that you can have with someone else's photo. The couple you see below have both become avid photographers and a trip to radioparadise.com will show you some of their excellent work. This photo of an empty frame on a table caught my attention so I decided to place the couple in the frame. I don't recall the exact number of steps it took to get this where I wanted it and to be honest I am not completely satisfied with the result but as you can see, the finished product was on the right track.

Best Of Radio Paradise Pt.2

I started doing these pictures around three years ago and it was the lively conversations on Radio Paradise that gave me inspiration to create these pics...most done very quickly in order to capture the moment. Here are some more of my favorites.

Too Much Time On My Hands

This picture was a result of having nothing to do tonight. The inspiration was Deep Purple's Fireball album.

Kentucky Fried Crepes

So these folks I know from radio paradise are finally together. Long story but to sum up, she just left France to join him in Kentucky. This is a little tribute...

A Local Event

On Sunday the family attended a nice little local affair dubbed Winter Carnival. It was a chance for young (and not so young) families to get together for some much needed outdoor activity. The weather could not have been nicer nor the crowd more enthusiastic. Fun was indeed had by all. To commemorate the day I whipped up these few pictures. Enjoy!

Get Well Get Well Soon We Want You To Get Well

No sooner had the Padre been pimped when he was rushed to hospital to have his appendix removed. Get well soon Mick, from all of us.

Pimp My Padre

So I thought, with all this "pimping" going on these days that it might be fun to have a go at my brother, a man of the cloth.

Welcome To 2006

I trust everyone had a good time last night and are dearly paying for it today. Serves your right. Getting all tanked up at your age....should be ashamed. I will, at this time, reserve my comments on my evening as I don't want to destroy anyone's perceived notion that I am still a wild and crazy guy. I may be...I may not be. Let's just leave it at that.

On other notes, it seems the Christmas card thing we did last month received rave reviews with several people wanting me to do up their cards for next Christmas. I will gladly meet all orders though a price for this service has yet to be sussed out. If you would like your home on your cards just take several pictures of your home in various lighting conditions and either email or send them to me and I will be glad to do something up and send to you for your approval prior to printing.

So there's our first posting of the new year. I hope everyone has a wonderful year filled with many happy memories. All but you poor folks who were born in the years 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006. Apparently, people born in The Year Of The Dog are in for some nasty luck this year. Sorry. To these people, be careful.

That is all.......carry on.
